Francisco 'Curro' Checa Romero formed Studio Idealyc in the autumn of 2005 after working for a number of small residential architectural practices that specialised in small and medium scale of projects in East London, and in parallel to his studies at the University of Greenwich and RCA.
The practice's approach is intensely contextual; always user centred, responding to the site in a way that results in an enduring and characterful architecture. Starting with the belief that buildings should be fun, the studio delivers architecture with strong identity, alongside consistent, high quality craftsmanship.
